Tatton Park 2005 ![]() Café Society enjoyed 5 splendid days at the Royal Horticulturalist Show in Tatton Park in Cheshire, July 2005. ![]() A splendid time was had by all and we filled the band stand with our usual blend of charm, wit and catchy numbers. The organisers looked after us extremely well, in particular Cathy Smith, who ferried George and his Sousaphone on the buggy. ![]() Anthony is modeling his new striped blazer, rather splendid we feel. Also, as you will have noticed, playing a banjo! This recent acquisition, a rather nice vintage Ludwig Dixie, is certainly stretching our young hero. He is enjoying getting to grips with it, but assures me that when it comes to gripping, he is no stranger! ![]() John and Willy were on top form as usual, jolly japes and mirthful merriment abounded the stage, infecting the crowds with good humour and ensuring the visitors had a super time. This is our second year at this event and we hope for a long and happy association. |
