It's our third visit to this charming little school which caters for some very special children indeed.

George was off on his holidays again so we were very pleased to be able to ask Colin Turner to join us. On this occasion he played a recording tube, but he is also a whizz on the bass saxophone.

We arrived at about 09:30 in the morning to be set to play for 10:00. We were greeted by Liz Templeman with coffee and we set up the equipment so the children could be led in.

As you can imagine, Christmas songs were the order of the day along with lashings of singalong gems, the children and staff sang and danced as we played. Most satisfying.

At one point we were asked to play 'The grand old duke of York' and they performed a dance routine involving the highly skillful movement of wheelchairs, a marvellous sight.

The happiness of the children and the dedication of the staff is inspiring, we very much enjoyed being a part of their Christmas.
